The Clendon Park Business Association Incorporated (CPBA) is an incorporated society and was formed in early 2018 to address ongoing issues around Clendon. Some of these issues are safety & security, property management, rubbish and the negative perception and appearance.
The CPBA is the collective voice for the Clendon Business Community . All businesses within the Clendon Business Community are encouraged to join the Clendon Park Business Association (CPBA).
What are the benefits of joining CPBA and what has happened so far?
- Proactive property management company has been contracted to manage Clendon Shopping Centre.
- Clendon Shopping Centre carpark swept on a regular basis, lights upgraded and new rubbish lock-up.
- New security company contracted and increase in number of security guards.
- Increase in number of cleaners for the shopping centre.
- Partnership with the Manurewa Local Board enabling funding and opportunity for an ongoing funding mechanism.
- Partnership with the Manurewa Business Association enabling management, staffing and administration efficiencies.
- Clendon Pride working alongside CPBA to beautify gardens and community surrounds.
- Town Ambassadors are now patrolling Clendon every day and reporting any security and maintenance issues to appropriate authorities.
Your contribution of an annual membership fee ($250.00) ensures that all the above (and more) can continue.
Monthly meetings are held with the committee of the of the CPBA. All owners, tenants and representatives are encouraged to attend these meetings. Together we can make Clendon Park a great place to work, shop and live.
